Separate the service from the flexible task
A continuously available service cannot be described in the same way as a processing job that may run within a wider window. GRID distinguishes these demand types and records what each depends on. The comparison does not assume that flexibility already exists. Instead, it gives the business owner a concrete question to answer: which work can move, under what conditions and with what consequence for the people receiving the result?
Give storage a defined role in the scenario
Storage enters the discussion through a proposed operating role rather than a generic promise. The scenario can examine whether the question concerns timing, flexibility or reserve needs, then identify the site and demand information required to investigate it. A visual schedule helps expose missing inputs. Its value is explanatory: it shows where specialists need a better understanding, while the eventual technology choice remains dependent on the conditions established through the project assessment.
Connect three views without collapsing them
The landscape image explains the physical setting, the storage detail explains one part of the operating story and the compute interior introduces demand. A timeline connects those views, while a short assumptions register states the information still required. Technology suppliers, site sponsors and digital-service teams can each see their contribution. GRID remains a conceptual planning study; the output is a clearer joint brief, with no installed capacity, operating asset or investment return implied by the imagery.
